I have the same 8 string ukulele. I have trouble with the high C string breaking before I can bring it to pitch. Can you recommend a brand of strings to try?

Good video, you’ve nailed the difference between 4 & 8 string perfectly. I love my Baton Rouge 8 string tenor to bits, so much so that I rarely play my 4 string anymore.

When you play fingerstyle and you pluck in the upwards direction do you hit the higher octave first or the lower octave first. Can strings 5&6 and 7&8 be reversed.
